Parish Church of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary
Mellieha’s Parish Church crowns the village with its warm honey-coloured stone and commanding hilltop presence. Originally built in the 19th century, the church was constructed with the voluntary labour of locals, reflecting the community’s deep Marian devotion. Its graceful Baroque-style façade opens into an interior adorned with fine artworks, including the titular painting by Giuseppe Calì. From the church parvis, visitors can enjoy panoramic views across Mellieħa Bay and beyond.
