Iklin

Although Iklin is largely a modern locality, the surrounding area holds traces of a much older past. Archaeological discoveries have revealed Bronze Age megalithic remains and evidence of earlier settlements, including large standing stones found near the Birkirkara By-Pass at Tar-Raddiena. Pottery fragments uncovered during excavations helped date the site to prehistoric times. While much of the area has since been developed, historians believe further remains may still lie hidden beneath the landscape.
