Gudja

Gudja’s feast of Santa Marija (Assumption of Our Lady) is held annually on 15 August, joining six other towns in Malta celebrating this central Marian feast. The parish combines solemn liturgies, processions, band marches, fireworks, and street decorations. It draws both locals and visitors who come to witness devotion, music, and the grand procession of the Assumption statue through Gudja’s historic lanes.
