Feast of St Joseph
The Feast of St Joseph is celebrated each July in Kalkara. Unique among Maltese festas, this feast emerged in the post-war years alongside the rebuilding of the town and its parish church. The beautifully carved titular statue of St Joseph is carried in procession through the streets, accompanied by the Kalkara band, fireworks, and colourful street decorations.
