The Transfiguration of Our Saviour
The parish’s titular statue of its patron was crafted in 1864 by Maltese sculptor Carlo Darmanin. It is a notable example of papier-mâché artistry. Originally intended to include three apostles, the final design features Christ flanked by Moses and Elijah, a modification made to accommodate the statue's increased size. This statue remains a central piece in the church’s annual feast celebrations.
