Patron Saint

Marsa

Holy Trinity

Unlike most Maltese towns that are dedicated to a particular saint, Marsa’s patronal devotion honours the Holy Trinity: the Christian doctrine of God as Father, Son, and Holy Spirit. This central mystery of the Catholic faith symbolises unity, divine love, and spiritual harmony. Marsa’s titular statue of the Holy Trinity was created by renowned Maltese sculptor Alfred Camilleri Cauchi and is placed prominently in the square during the feast. Mounted on a five-metre pedestal, the statue becomes the centrepiece

of the festa decorations.
