Church of St Joseph
The Parish Church of St Joseph stands prominently along Msida’s waterfront and remains the town’s most recognisable landmark. Built between 1886 and 1889 to replace the earlier parish church of the Immaculate Conception, the church was designed by architect Andrea Grima and consecrated in 1894. Its graceful Baroque-style façade and elegant dome overlook the marina, creating one of the most picturesque parish settings in Malta. Inside, the church houses the titular statue of St Joseph with the Child Jesus, sculpted by renowned Maltese artist Wistin Camilleri.
