Town

St Julians

Saint Julian’s is a lively coastal town in Malta’s Eastern Region, located just north of Valletta and neighbouring Sliema. Once a quiet fishing village centred around Spinola Bay, it gradually evolved into a fashionable seaside retreat for wealthy Maltese families and eventually into one of the island’s most vibrant tourism hubs.

Today the town blends historic character with modern development, with districts such as Paceville, Balluta Bay, and St George’s Bay attracting visitors year-round. Colourful fishing boats still line Spinola Bay, recalling the town’s maritime past, while restaurants, hotels, and entertainment venues have transformed Saint Julian’s into one of Malta’s most bustling coastal destinations.
